Today is the Birth Anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore.
Rabindra Jayanti is an annually celebrated Cultural festival, prevalent among Bengalis around the world.

It is celebrated in early May, on the 25th day of the Bengali month of Boisakh (২৫শে বৈশাখ), since Tagore was born on this day of the year 1268 (1861 AD) of the Bengali calendar.

সারা বিশ্বজুড়ে
সাহিত্য জগৎ ভরিয়ে দিলেন
নোবেল জয় করে
He was awarded the Nobel Prize in the year 1913, for his book Gitanjali, Internationally Tagore's best-known collection of poetry.
